At Crail Golfing Society we are proud of our prestige but equally proud of our reputation as a club that doesn't take itself too seriously. Since 1786 the Club has always looked forward, evolving with the times. Generations of families, from all walks of life, from all over the world have gathered here for golf, competition and good-humoured conversation. Membership of Crail Golfing Society is an experience that cannot be replicated, and value that is impossible to match.

Full Society Membership

Membership of the Society is more than just access to two stunning links courses, the variety of competitions, or the access to a relaxed clubhouse with coastal views; we're an enjoyable Scottish golf club with centuries of tradition and a commitment to the future. The membership is currently full but applications are being accepted for the wait list.

Thistle Youth Memberships

In the 1880’s as golf became more popular amongst the broader population, ‘Thistle’ clubs started to be formed, including one at Crail. Young golfers, keen for competition amongst their peer group. That spirit of development continues today with youth memberships offered at an affordable cost.

Overseas Membership

Our richly diverse overseas membership is spread across 23 countries and over 35 states in the USA. We enjoy the added flavour, style and good humour this brings to club life. It's testament to the quality of the golf courses and our brand of Scottish hospitality that we see our overseas members so often. Applications are being accepted for the wait list.

Clubhouse Membership

The Balcomie Clubhouse, with it's stunning sea views is a special place to spend time with family and friends. The restaurant, lounge and bar are open year-round to Clubhouse Members and their guests. A relaxed place to dine, entertain or attend the array of events throughout the year.

Junior Membership

Games to be played and lifelong friendships made. The first junior medal at Crail was played back in 1903. The development of young golfers is a deeply embedded in our club culture. We make sure that cost is not a barrier, and provide a safe, relaxed and fun place to learn and play the game.
