“The undivided attentions of the members were given to social enjoyment.”
Dr. J.W. Maillardet, Captain of the Society, 1842
In those early days of the Society fines were imposed for non-attendance at club dinners, now the only penalty is missing out. In amongst the classic dates to reserve such as Burns Night and the Annual Dinner are summer shoot outs, quiz nights, wine tasting, screening of film classics, talks and charity auctions.
