A Member as Your Guide

 

Don't underestimate the value of a caddie at Crail. Unique to the Club is that our local caddies are all members first. They don't just carry the bag, read the greens or suggest the correct club. They take great pride in sharing their club as well as their expert knowledge of the courses and the conditions. A member as your guide means a relaxed, more enjoyable round on the links, we hope a better score and above all the knowledge that you are part of our club for the day.

A Forecaddie at Crail is an alternative option to a single player caddie. Forecaddies do not carry bags but assist multiple golfers with yardage, line of putts and general playing information through the duration of a round.

 

2024 Caddie Rates

Single Round Caddie Fee is £60 plus gratuity. Please note that a caddie hired by a single golfer is not permitted to carry multiple bags.

2 Golfer Forecaddie Fee is £70 plus gratuity.

3 Golfer Forecaddie Fee is £90 plus gratuity.

4 Golfer Forecaddie Fee is £110 plus gratuity.

 

Caddie Payment

No deposit is taken for the reservation of caddie services. Payment must be made in full directly to the Caddie(s) on the day at the completion of play. Payment must be in cash, and in UK currency (Pound Sterling). 

 

Request a Caddie

The service is managed on behalf of the caddies through the Reservations Department. When making your caddie request please provide the names of each player as this assists with allocations and introductions on the day.

Caddies do not stay on-site and are individually assigned to each player or group. Fees and gratuities must be paid directly to the caddies and forecaddies on the day of play, cash (UK Sterling) only. If the need arises for a cancellation, please notify the Reservations Department no later than 48 hours of play. If players or groups choose to cancel on the day, without providing advance notification, they will be obliged to pay the caddie or forecaddie fee in full.
